FIVE POINT DANCE
As her love for dancing grew, so did her love for photographing it. After a few years of experimenting and working with several mentors in San Francisco, CA, she found herself contracted to photograph for the San Francisco Ballet. She was incredibly thankful to have had that opportunity and learned so much from watching and capturing such beauty close up. She created a darkroom in her house and became fully invested in the art. After several years of photographing dancers, dance companies, and theater productions, she took a hiatus to finish her dance career. Currently, she is available and photographing dance where she resides in Albuquerque, NM.
Throughout the years she has choreographed for many dance schools for their summer programs and showcases. She found an amazing outlet to experiment by acquiring an incredibly close connection to her students at Marin Dance Theater. Andrea was able to create piece after piece with students that were "all in" and open to any process she wanted to explore. This is where her love for choreography flourished. Andrea also choreographs for YAGP and The Cecchetti International Ballet competitions. Her contemporary pieces have taken 1st, 3rd, top 12, and scholarship opportunities. She looks forward to many more opportunities to explore movement with dancers.
